There are many reasons why I love Airbnb but I also choose to stay in Hotels. One example as to why to choose choose Airbnb is that entire trip to Hawaii in Oahu and the Big Island was using Airbnb. I chose Airbnb because the hotels were over $300 a night and I was able to stay for nearly two weeks exploring Hawaii by staying in someone's home with Airbnb for around $50 a night. My host on the Big Island even invited me and my boyfriend to spend Thanksgiving with his friends and family. What a great memory.
There are a few points to consider before choosing an Airbnb or a hotel.
Are you traveling business or pleasure?
Are you traveling alone?
Are you traveling with children?
Are you traveling to a large city or a small town?
Hotels:
Hotels are located all around the world from small towns to large cities and they go from basic rooms to luxury. The higher cost of a hotel room includes comfort, location, and service. This includes the 24/7 check in and assistance, fitness center, pool, spa, housekeeping, complimentary breakfast, shuttle service and toiletries for example. If you want to unwind and take a break, or you're in town for buisness, hotels provide the best quality. Hotels are usually located near sightseeing destinations, businesses and restaurants and bars. They’re likely to be the better choice when travelling with children because if you need, extra sheets, luggage valet, snack machines, etc. Hotels make sure that your comfort and entertainment are well taken care of. Of course, hotels can be a little pricey especially depending on the location. So if you need a cheaper option or you’re traveling with a large group, like a family reunion, hotels may not be ideal.
